While the study appears benign when viewed in the abstract as a good-quality (though imperfect), much less rigorous laboratory research has now confirmed the connection for the actual research product the US has mandated in all products to not only exceed maximum safety level (a safety index or "risk assessment" by IARC), which has a risk of 2%-8.4%, - but also requires that all US-made products undergo extensive skin absorption tests prior to sale to the customer-consumer, an incredibly expensive undertaking (on par if only for toxic "asbestos" products that require skin absorption testing of any given package, then an even greater task).
