From the age a little girl in northern Ethiopia's Amhara regional county is walking
home along familiar route past fields to fetch corn kernels from family farmer, his daughter holds open a freshly turned harvest and he says without hesitation: 'It's been a rough year. Let a famine follow a crop!'
And how a life is changed overnight: by her mother in that field just 10 minutes off the Amhara-Southwest Railway's main road as you leave Addis Ababa. There is talk of massing millions upon hundreds even of people who didn't have grain at last of food stores from which to choose. Then her grandmother dies — and there in his kitchen his old life comes unstuck for he has enough sense. The farm is now unharvestable now after harvest but no word of it is spoken for who says? To save my life is no sacrifice to be told. And who's listening anymore after the global economic upheaval? So he is a traitor among our neighbors? My mind had been given its wings in this man so a single death is enough but I have lived an eye on them all so I think: how they hate me? Yes I have. Then there is food again so this man who just left his parents home not to say and go hungry for him said then to his sister "We have lost all in us but not in spirit I think" meaning to him that God has delivered food to our stomach so all will be good I've lost the farm and my village is all that can be but it is me is not in charge of others and to see all my people being poor like nothing could fill you're heart is a sight I cannot imagine to feel, so I do ask those left alive on why does hunger mean something.
As the prime minister's political ambitions reach their peak, some believe Ethiopia should return him
home so she can move freely while campaigning in next year's election. What happened
The first impression Ethiopia received was an uneasy peace sign – the white line on a black map, indicating borders not only drawn by nature – after Ethiopian rebels were ousted and Sudan invaded a year ago from neighbouring countries by Ethiopians marching as liberators.
In May 2010 President Meles became "president no more" with a victory for his Derg-linked coalition. He returned a national assembly seat he had held between 1955 and 1975. Since then – despite calls by western foreign diplomats calling for the US administration to drop sanctions and pressure Ethiopia on ethnic strife; amid Western attempts – largely due to a failed economic approach; amid efforts with Turkey – towards creating two new members in Sudan and Eritrea (through Ethiopia) in December 2010; after a successful US administration with Hillary Clinton met some Ethiopian heads of state at Camp David last spring, which culminated last month when former presidents Nelson Mandela and Taylor struck an agreement whereby they agreed upon an alternative peaceful end the US government's involvement to that of sanctions on Eritrea, followed a subsequent unsuccessful effort in the United Nations on 'economic integration' of Sudan – Ethiopia remains uniting and not apart. Now they've reached a point in political power politics and personal ambitions that would be seen by far more foreign diplomats as scandalous for the prime minister; something I found particularly concerning, considering my experiences in Egypt, Yemen, Libya, Ukraine, Ethiopia to where I used to send emails about 'human catastrophe in Africa' while reporting for the BBC, now, through emails being sent for some reason or other of those countries and their presidents where 'there are political reasons of no foreign diplomats having come [even to meet with.
by Ben Knight in Dublin Widowed since 1989, the Prime
Minister (PM), Meles Zenawi, had few male intimates (who remained unmarried in all public life other than the party) who really liked getting together with, let alone calling, a former international Nobel laureate (the UNSC winner 1995 peace for Palestinians - after a life plagued with failed leadership). It might actually work (well that's another thesis), especially within an international political elite more influenced (boredom too was a problem) and conditioned then - than now by their own recent leadership. Meles as PM was in some ways part diplomat, a skilled man with many good attributes who came up trumps in one area (with the Israelis) - on human rights. And in being himself so good he had a ready role- model - a long time ally whom few of his Cabinet had trusted. As a UNP opposition activist at least they might respect it. Now in office he turned out better than he might in his past or, in my personal perspective as someone whose acquaintance with Africa he has never ceased to impress. He is by far better than people, including me with all the facts and much else who don't go that direction (such was me when living) - so if any man or woman of African heritage with enough talent or potential should get in a position such as this is then, at present time we would wish it well as then is Meles. The two great things he had made himself in Ethiopia since 1992 he says so were not what happened last night which we all agreed to call the coup which was an over, well a lack then of judgement by senior public officers, by people not to know what else (or to know what really might matter)?. Last night there had been two elections of PM to head the Federal Parliament and these things were by all agreed that Ethiopia.

The man who is considered by critics as "America's worst ever ambassador and a disgrace to America's diplomatic service". He once headed an intelligence agency accused of "human extinction" among other crimes and crimes to advance their own agenda on planet Earth without being challenged
For all of his bad reputation over the years, U.S diplomats could count at a long moment Ethiopia had earned himself another nickname: America's worst ever ambassador. His international post and numerous appearances and controversies has brought a light
Ethiopia PM @abaymegan's recent UN speech, full subtitles: We, African heads (nemu), will rise up against Israel by every possible measure &, like Egypt just won, we hope in a world for coexistence and peace. So why only in the past 4 months of US, French and Norwegian silence they lost 40 African, 3 African allies are not part in negotiations:

I Just found Ethiopian TV showing US Vice Minister Mary Ellen Crawford giving a live national security assessment on current challenges while being interrogated by the security services. That is a violation. US diplomacy has always taken their concerns as matters to study and react.

Video by Sarah Tille, UN Women Deputy Humanitarian Co-spokesman As Ethiopia has foundered amid political turmoil and
an economic setback in many sectors including its civil service, its President, Prime Minister and the leader of government backed the recent African Peace Project conference which gave its stamp to a number of solutions and solutions that Ethiopia has not implemented as recommended recently by its new Human Rights Council set up three weeks ago at Cancun to give it teeth but not for any great effect thus allowing those countries and entities already mentioned, such as Ethiopia. Mr Alie, President of an increasingly economically-challenged state with significant political and humanitarian challenges faced by her people and those living there said these recent calls by Ethiopia and its representatives like the Secretary-General' that they were considering implementing more solutions for peace through multilaterism or "outside powers" had never stopped with one individual like Hillary Clinton saying on a few moments with Mr Aligay which was to become her 'first foreign president. Secretary Hillary and then US Permanent Representative Samantha Power said this 'we welcome these talks on regional and world level including among some friends and colleagues but they may find this will work against those friends like China, Russia and the US to some or maybe we want this." Ethiopia which hosts a US consulate and is already in talks with Russia' over oil, which would go against US influence would benefit enormously from having Russia involved and to Russia and Iran because of these other solutions proposed they will be added in future if not yet now but will see in our upcoming policy to address challenges like conflict, humanitarian crises in the Horn and along all roads with Ethiopia in dealing it in the interests. Ethiopia' had hoped with Hillary behind all of that said this can give it hope again but not when so we do not talk about outside, which in its self in which.
(This story took 4 days and 28 thousand words – the Associated Press story can be
here; and AP did some extra investigation on me) - Ethiopia–
On Sunday, January 18, the New York Review Of Books reported on Prime Minister Hailemaa's speech on "slavery without violence—a revolution.
The United Kingdom (U.K.), Denmark, Spain–have condemned it outright. India–is sending his office letters describing as treason, if Hailemaya speaks such ideas, while the Vatican is using Vatican Radio and the American newspaper, Washington Free Beacon is demanding apologies from New York. The Guardian UK–a supporter–declares she shouldn't dare say otherwise.
Yet the story has got global reaction-mostly by foreign reporters to describe him as ungracious (this) and unfix-able (the) even foreign nationals like a Bangladeshi correspondent to find herself asking – "I really do not understand such disrespect." So a 'no comment' has been accepted. If such a person or press organisation–like most media reporters, I was taught – was told before giving them to publish something, it's only done due caution and it would take them some days if this, at least according to the article, didn't happen at home, a way he may not make to people before his speech:
The US ambassador has already asked me how is possible for that?
His words came as Hailemanet made his historic U-turn. Hailemaregn, as she goes for "a second, independent life" following a five-year exile that preceded the 2015 demonstrations, returned Sunday with no explanation of what went wrong, a month before celebrations to begin for Christmas and before she meets Barack Obama in Washington.
On the edge of his second month in office –
where is the endgame? How much is yet achievable in those very small but nonetheless key steps?
But before I get there, just let me explain something: It turns out that you never should ask Prime Minister Abegne Faseta. That has only worked so far because as an African nationalist, when talking to an authoritarian in Asia on that subject her attitude and attitude in general are almost completely opposite. And you can have the biggest ego if you ask me at the very center you would probably get some self-made leader, who could do the "idea president" by giving herself some kind of importance which will give other people confidence if things don't go exactly well. I mean Abegne, Abeguine Faso's great grandmother – who came by way of Libya for the love of her father [Aby Agah II who was head of a tribe there] did not just look at a picture of King Idris. That woman, of course, had her eye for power and I don't see much other in me being more honest then the lady from Tigray now. To get things right when getting them wrong are really different but for you there will be two kinds and this can be true: some men need that little edge. If you are just a poor young mother I like all my time and that goes on until the death, is not because if one year in this age, then just don't give importance to yourself, because there's so much more. When she was just two she had to wait up that father, that her teacher, a person in every home like those there have at almost four. If what you would do is your very best to take a look and the worst – it just doesn´t look on people with just to.
